This site was a a topic of fun discussion because so many people wanted to meet or know more about Star.  But after being approached in the local Supermarket by a nice lady who said "aren't you the ones who walk the dainty little Sheltie..."  Well after that we just laughed and said its time for a Website.  Hope you enjoy the photos.

My name is "Star", I am my Dad's third Sheltie.   Here are the first two;

After the last one went to Heaven in 1999 Dad decided to wait until he retired before he got another dog..

I get to hang with Dad almost all of the time, he hardly ever leaves me alone.  He thinks I'm spoiled, I think I have him well trained.

I was about 3 months old when Dad picked me up from a Breeder near Cadillac, MI.  I'm a runt about half the size of my Sisters when we

were about 12 weeks old, but I ran just as hard.  I was born February 23, 2015.  Here I am with Mom.

I grew pretty fast the first couple of months, here I am at about 6 months.

Here's my Boyfriend Buddy, he's crazy about me, I act like I don't care.

He lived with my Dad for a couple of weeks when he was very young.  Here he is helping dad dig a sprinkler trench.

Here I am with my YOUNGER Boyfriend (I'm two weeks older than he is, but only weigh half as much) and his big Sister, Callie.

Callie knew my Dad for a long time, he really likes her, but I forgave him.

Dad bought me some cool Doggles.  I really like it when Mom holds me so I can hang my head out the window.

This is my Friend Betsy, she lives next door to me.

This is Betsy Sister, Emily, she's my Friend too.

This is Betsy's and Emily's Sister Ellen, She's also my friend.  She wants to be a Veterinarian.

I can do tricks.  This is my "beg" pose.  My favorite is a "Roll-over", but I can shake also.

Here I am high in the hills over Los Angeles, I drag Dad all over the place.

I like boat rides on the Kalamazoo River.  I'm sitting next to Boat Captain Travis.  He lets me run around his boat.

Here I am relaxing in Cousin's Aaron's Lap.  It's a tough life, but someone has to do it!

Darn, I sure am pretty!

Here I am with Friend Janice, I stayed with her and her Hubby Steve one night.  Steve likes to get on the floor and play with me.

Here I am with Friend Carol and Aunt Sandra.  Carol's Hubby, President John likes to invite me over, even if Dad can't come.

I'm sitting here watching Dad rake leaves in the Fall (2016) and he wants me to smile, but I'm not doing it. This is my serious look....

This Summer (2017) I went to Camp for two weeks while Mom and Dad went on Vacation without Me.

Here I am with Camp Director Janice on the 4th of July.

I like to run fast so my hair flies back, there was plenty of yard for a good run.

There were other dogs at Camp to play with, here Play Master Steve introduces Me to Fury.

Fury and I hung out together, Fury was nice, he didn't bark at Me, and he always had a smile!

There were also Leprechauns to chase.

At Camp we got to dress up, how do I look in Hot Stripes?

Then I got to dress up as a little Dutch Girl....

Ah yes, and I know how to get ready for Cinco de Mayo day!

But my all-time favorite is when I got to wear the Princess Outfit!

I wasn't to crazy about Flute Lessons, it was hard to hold.

Play Master Steve sometimes would take me for a walk on the Beach.

And I got to pose at this silly sign.

Oh yeah, I got to go to Swim School too!

But my favorite part of Camp was just relaxing and watching the birds.

One night after I got home from Camp, I had a sleep-over Party with my best friend Callie.

Next it was off to Boerne, Texas and spending time with Aunt Sue.

One time in Ventura, California I got to play Captain on Uncle Lou's Sailboat.

I liked it so much that when I got home, Dad let me cut the grass...

Sometimes I like to chase Squirrels, I can't climb trees, but I want to!

This is my Special Toy.  My Breeder sent it home with me the day Dad got me.  I smell it and put

Mouth on it, but never chew it up.  I know it's got a Special Smell.

Oh Boy!  It's Christmas at Uncle Lou and Aunt Linda's House.  Here I am with Mom.

Mom made me wear this sign to get some Girl Scouts Cookies.

Dad and I Got a Bike, we rode 500 Miles together last year.

Dad makes me wear Doggles so we can ride fasssst.

Aunt Maura came to visit and commissioned Artist Jim Brandess to paint my portrait!

Then we headed back to California and we spent some Christmas time at Aunt Arlene and Uncle Steve's House near Phoenix .

Once we got to California Dad took me to Dee Dee's Dog Spot Spa for a bath, see how pretty my coat is.

A few days later was my 5th Birthday (2-23-2020).

I spend a lot of time looking at the Blue Jays, I like to chase them when they get peanuts from Dad.

A few days later Uncle Denny came by and helped Dad hang a new door on the shed.

After Uncle Dennis left, it was back to protecting the front yard...

And we visited Aunt Maura at her house with a great view of Los Angeles.

And a visit to California wouldn't be complete without a dinner with Aunt Marcie and Uncle Martin.

Dad got me this Serta Perfect Sleeper, I like it!

Last Christmas we visited Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Larry in Boise, ID.  Near by is a town called STAR.  I had to go!

Near by was a fun wall where you stand in front of painted pictures to take a picture.  Here I am with you know who...

Here I am in L.A. with my good friend Marcie.  We have the same Birthday.

On our way home we stopped in Arizona at Aunt Arlene and Uncle Steve's House.

When we got back to Michigan, I got to stay with my best Friend Callie

When Dad is busy updating this website, I find a close-by corner to curl up in.

Sometimes special guests come to Dinner, here I am with Mira.  She's foreign-exchange student from Palestine.

And here I am with my second cousin once removed.  Her name is Saoirse ("Sur-sha").  We're pals....  

One day Dad and I were out on the bike, I made him stop to take this photo.

Then it was off to Arizona to spend Christmas 2023 with Steve and Arlene again...

We went for walks everyday, one day I saw this Christmas Dragon, but I wasn't too scared...

Then it was on to California where I got to spend some time with my friend Ginger.

And then it was onto our Winter Hideout, where I get to place chase with long time friend Trevor...
